We've had such success in stopping Radical Islam in Iraq and Afghanistan...maybe the brilliant foreign experts Palin and Cantor are right...we should give it a go in Egypt. We should have them go over there and draw a big ol' line in the sand.

You make it sound like his only mistake was getting caught. Admittedly it's hard to lose sleep over a casino losing money, but the guy did commit a major crime and the fact he was caught must be viewed as a GOOD thing by those who believe in the rule of the law.

Sad to say it was probably a more humane death than they faced otherwise. My own dozen biddies and 2 roosters are snug in their comfy roomy hen house. If I get a few eggs now and then great but my girls will never face the stewpot.
